Why does it feel like Music as a whole has stagnated? Songs from 2005 sound mostly the same as songs from today, compare that and 1985-2005. Heck 1950 and 1970 had a massive difference.

It bothers me a lot more than it should that my brother, who doesn't have a single creative bone in his body and has never held a proper camera, took a photo of his cat with his phone and it's prettier than any photo I will ever take.
It is a cute cat though.

I appreciate how metal drink straws, despite being rigid, have the molded grooves an inch or two from the tip where a plastic straw would bend. I do wonder if, like the floppy disk save icon, future generations will be ignorant of its origin.
