Shirley Scott (1934-2002) was a jazz organist known as the "Queen of the Organ". A Philadelphia native, she played with Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, Stanley Turrentine, and others. Scott is recognized for her work on "In the Kitchen" with Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, and Johnny Hodges.
