Aaron Rodgers bounced off that cornerback like a toddler trying to tackle a Great Dane

Juice turning into Travis Kelce for a half hour wasn't on my bingo card.
There were so many "how did that happen" things about that game.
January 12, 2026 at 1:40 AM
The 49ers committed one "penalty" (a very dubious personal foul for unnecessary roughness) the entire game. That's incredible.

Declining to talk is an unusual move for him.
A.J. Brown declined to talk to reporters and left the locker room.

The 2025 Philadelphia Eagles' video highlight package should be a loop of A.J. Brown arguing with Nick Sirianni.

How the hell did the 49ers win this?
January 12, 2026 at 12:45 AM
Honestly the Jets should sign Jauan Jennings as a QB. It's not like anything else they've tried has worked.

Despite the 49ers getting fully outplayed in most areas, they still somehow could've won this (or at least been in position to) if Yetur Gross-Matos had recovered that fumble. Seattle took advantage of the tipped pass + CMC bobble, though.

Troy Aikman might love Upton Stout more than any Niner who has ever lived.
January 4, 2026 at 3:13 AM
Sounds crazy but Pearsall's absence (after practicing this week) might be as detrimental as Trent's. Seattle can focus everything on Kittle and McCaffrey, and these third downs look like a nightmare for Purdy.
January 4, 2026 at 3:00 AM
Feels like we kind of knew this was a possibility when they gave up 8.1 ypc to Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears three weeks ago.
49ers’ defensive comeuppance was inevitable but losing this emphatically to the Seahawks running game is something else entirely
January 4, 2026 at 2:14 AM
The Seahawks are tackling exceedingly well and the 49ers are tackling air. Might be the biggest difference so far.
January 4, 2026 at 1:40 AM
No first downs, a couple of key penalties AND not stopping the run? Good luck.
January 4, 2026 at 1:37 AM
It's a rare occurrence when the 49ers play the Seahawks and the Niners undoubtedly have the uglier uniforms.
January 4, 2026 at 12:29 AM
There really isn't much difference between this Panthers-Bucs game and a garden-variety generic bowl game on a Wednesday afternoon in mid-December.
January 4, 2026 at 12:02 AM
Sure seems like someone wants Baker Mayfield in the playoffs.
January 3, 2026 at 11:26 PM
How did he not snap into a Slim Jim here? Missed opportunity.

I'm legitimately surprised that the Warriors scored 20 points in the first quarter.

Jonathan Kuminga the first night after getting traded to the Brooklyn Nets

It seemed odd that the 49ers shed so many expensive players who were good on paper and Kyle seemed so excited about this season. It's starting to make sense now.

Tirico and Collinsworth were so bummed that the Bears lost. Collinsworth spent his entire postgame thing talking about how this proved how tough the Bears are.
December 29, 2025 at 4:50 AM
Rich Eisen seems like a nice enough guy, but play-by-play is not his strong suit.
December 28, 2025 at 12:30 AM
Lacob’s email didn’t sway Kerr whatsoever with the Kuminga thing and I respect it.

So I checked the waiver wire in my fantasy hoops league to see who has the best stats over the past 7 days. It's Pat Spencer and his brother Cam, and their stats are uncannily similar.
