A rule I'd love to enforce is, if you fund a book to screen adaptation, and one of your marketing strategies is to slap that ugly ass "Now a TV/Movie on (Blank)" You have to finish the adaptation. Cuz this dropping it part way through thing is BULLSHIT.

I keep seeing people putting the Lies of Locke Lamora into the Grimdark category and I am baffled. Is there a lot of misery in that book? Yes. But I'd say there's just a little too much hope and joy to actually fit in that category.
