I get it but it’s seems like a weak talking point response to what is really an act of treason and disrespect.
It’s a sacred symbol of our democracy and the power we temporarily give one person to represent and lead us.

All I’m hearing is that Charlie Kirk was very effective in his job. But he was also a terrible person whose opinion and rhetoric demeans, alienates, and incites the worst in people.

I do not celebrate violence or death. But I will not idly stand by and say nice things when someone who demonizes people, stirs up bigotry and supports a gun in every hand gets killed.
He did not deserve it but his actions were part of what caused it.
