Undergraduate students and I spent the afternoon sampling creeks in central Maryland and among our findings were several Greenside Darters (Etheostoma blennioides), an introduced species in the Potomac River Watershed.

This is great! It even has three of my four study taxa!!!!
I’ve been spending the last few months developing this educational set, “Doodle Darters” with the help of some talented digital sculptors, a graphic designer, and photographer. It is a set of six 3D printed darters that you can paint/color, sort of like a 3D coloring book. #SciArt 🐡 #SciEd #SciComm
