Long-suffering West Ham fan. Marketing Director. Oh-so tired.
Now, this is a true thing of beauty. Nice one, @mikediver.bsky.social

@robpearson86.bsky.social and Ben Wilson - made up for you, fellas!

Treated myself to a PS2 and had to play PES5 first.

Worked on that series for years, but this was peak PES for me. Newly promoted West Ham (well, East London) with Zamora and Benayoun, and before it started getting biased towards cover stars… *cough* Adriano.

Still plays like a dream, too..

So, the DOOM: Dark Ages exhibition is live at the Royal Armoury in Leeds…

An 11m tapestry recounting the launch trailer and replica Shield Saw. And opened by the Slayer.

Don't brag about work that often, so allow me this. But very proud of the Northern European team for this...

Waiting for a flight so picked up a copy of Retro Gamer.

Brilliant mag as ever, but PS2 now falling under retro (and why wouldn’t it) has made me reach for the Werthers Originals and Saga Holiday brochures.

Seven points ‘till safety.
February 27, 2025 at 9:50 PM
10 points until safety. But that one was very satisfying…

Ah, shit.

RIP Rick Buckler, the percussion heartbeat to so many The Jam classics.

Elon to buy GodisaGeek from the Cosplay Cleric. Calling it.

Here be treasure…

Did Konami’s PR for about 16 years and this is the equivalent of my life flashing before my eyes.

And this is only one of six folders.

14 points until safety.

‘Potter weaving his magic’ or something. Although, more honestly, we rode our luck. Like one of them Quidditch brooms.

Getting me something from Bitmap Books is becoming a bit of a tradition in our gaff, but when their books are as stunning as this I can cope.

Love the Metal Slug games, and this is an amazing celebration.

Well, that’s those days between now and New Year sorted…

Whoever commissioned this shitty ITV version of Pictionary (a game that hardly warrants a show) should wake up to coal in their stocking.

And that’s a wrap for work this year. Been an eventful one, but ended on a high with the Indy launch.

Now to mainline dry-roasted nuts and red wine until January.

22 points till safety. And Sullivan again resets the ‘two goals to save his job’ counter for Lopetegui.
December 9, 2024 at 9:59 PM
Mulled wine. It’s just a bit shit, isn’t it?
December 8, 2024 at 6:29 PM
‘Tis the season…

Adventure calls, people…
Smart, fun and so very Indiana Jones, The Great Circle is a stealth action tour de force that marks a bold new era for MachineGames.

A tradition in the Bethesda UK office. And one that lead to a ‘quiet word’ from HR.
