Every time I go on leave (annual or sick), I set up an auto-responder with an out of office message. Every time, without fail; someone will begin interacting with it, thinking I am instantly replying to their emails with the same message over and over again. This has been happening FOR THREE YEARS.

Anyone who says #racism is not an issue in #Australia welcome to chat with me. In the last 72 hours I have been called the n-word for wearing a uniform that had Indigenous art on it, and overheard someone arguing with airport staff about how skin colour should determine boarding priority.

Yesterday Jason Claire announced a new commission to oversee #Australian #Academic & #University pay. I was also contacted by a former employer 8 years after I left saying that they had underpaid me and want to make amends. Coincidence? #AcademicSky
