It’s not “losing money” any more than air traffic controllers or public highways or street lights or fire departments are “losing money.” It is a government service. It’s not SUPPOSED to make money. It’s supposed to reliably deliver to anywhere in the US, even the unprofitable places.

Credit is dumb. If I have debt on one of my cards, my score increases. It decreases when I pay it off. If I put debt on another card, my score decreases. Increases when I pay it off. The money I put towards my car loan hasn't moved the needle either way. And I overpay on the loan. Scammer activities
