This is me at the second protest and march today. It was cold and windy and was wrapping up when we took this (forgot to take pictures- lots of people stopped to take photos and videos but haven’t seen them yet). The one on the Highway had about 800 people & this one about 1700 (speech & March).

Hands off our democracy! #PrincetonNJ

Here in Princeton, NJ, a town of about 30,000 people, the crowd at the #HandsOff protest. Appeared to be about 1300-1500 people, as high as 5% of the population. It's the largest event I have seen in this public space.

My husband was given 1-2 years to live. He got accepted to be a part of a NIH cancer study. He is half way through and now we worry if NIH will continue to send the investigational drug to the cancer center.

How many will die?

Today a friend from Sweden told a small group of us (from the US) not to lose hope because the good people in other countries are there to help. Instantly I had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. We thought we knew how to spread democracy, but now we need our own international intervention.

Massively big pastel as a demo today…

I'm using Adilson Farias brushes for Procreate, but I don't think I'm using them well. Does anyone have a tip about getting the strokes to not overlap? Left is traditional watercolor, right is digital in Procreate.

Haunted by a book dragon!

I love drawing horses... this is young Leonardo da Vinci in his sketchbook world, drawing a horse.

This year, I looked at wood carvings to inspire my pumpkin in the great Hopewell Valley Arts Council annual pumpkin carving contest. Took a few hours. But it was worth it! Fifth place out of a big field of truly awesome carvers. Happy Halloween!
