Gtf2i-encoded transcription factor Tfii-i regulates myelination via Sox10 and Mbp regulatory elements - Nature Communications
The transcriptional regulation of oligodendrocytes has an essential role in myelin formation and maintenance. Here, the authors identify the transcription factor Tfii-i as a regulator of myelin genes expression in the nervous system and show that its loss enhances myelin thickness and nerve conduction.

Glucocorticoids target postnatal oligodendrocyte precursor cells to modulate adult hippocampal network plasticity and stress-induced behavior
Early life events shape neuronal networks, and prime juvenile and adult behavior. Severely aversive, early experiences can interfere with brain development and enhance the risk for the onset of psychi...

If you submit your grants last minute, you're in good company. For the 2005 NIH Pioneer grant, half of the applications were submitted in the last two days. The red bars indicate the awardees. One awardee submitted 8 minutes before the deadline.
