The SAVE Act, requires proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in FEDERAL elections. The SAVE America Act imposes voter ID requirements and proof of citizenship for voting. So if they both pass, folks will have to jump 2 hurdles to vote. Registration will not guarantee the ability to vote.
