This is a drawing done by my friend Jay some years ago. I volunteered my sona, Banzai, for a meme drawing trend at the time. This is the isolated cutout of just Banzai. This image was one of two drawn by my friend Tempo last year to show off Banzai as a samurai. In this picture, Banzai is shown to be posed as if ready to strike out with his katana. I've about had it at home. It's becoming clearer to me every day that my parents view me as secondary to my other siblings. My feelings and my needs are constantly cast aside and I'm even reprimanded for even bringing them up. I'm nearing the absolute limit of what I can endure

This image is centered on the dusty clouds between the Orion Nebula (Messier 42) and the Running Man Nebula (Sharpless 279) and is a mosaic of two images taken on separate nights in February 2017 To the right is the bright Orion Nebula, the closest stellar factory to us, located some 1350 light-years away in the constellation Orion. Here new stars are born out of the dense clouds of gas and dust, and the youngest and brightest stars that we see now are only between 10,000 and a few hundred thousand years old. The nebula is illuminated primarily by the four bright young stars visible in the centre, which form a small cluster called the Trapezium. The radiation pressure from these young stars have sculpted a vast cavity with brightly coloured glowing walls that we see from Earth as the familiar shape of the Orion Nebula. The nebula is also known as Messier 42 or NGC 1976 and is one of the brightest nebulae in the sky, easily visible just south of Orion's Belt using even the smallest binoculars. It is approximately 24 light years across and forms part of the much larger Orion Molecular Cloud Complex - a huge clump of very cold gas that has a total mass of about 2000 times that of the Sun. The gas from this cloud slowly collapses due to gravity and stars are formed. Whenever a bright new star is formed, its strong light evaporates the opaque gaseous surroundings it formed from, thus allowing us to see it. www.rolfolsenastrophotography.com/Astrophotography/Nebula... This image shows the famous Pillars of Creation region of the bright Eagle Nebula (Messier 16) in Serpens. Constructed from monochrome exposures in two very narrow wavelength bands of ionised Hydrogen and Oxygen, the data has been combined into a colour image to reveal this highly detailed and very dramatic scene. The bright colours are due to emission from the ionised gases, energised by light from nearby stars. The stars were removed during image processing to fully reveal the intricate structure of the nebula. Orange-red nebulosity corresponds to H-Alpha emission, and the blue areas are OIII. The core area of the nebula was made famous in 1995 as the "Pillars of Creation" by images from the Hubble Space Telescope. The pillars are giant columns of gas and dust, approximately 9 light-years long, that are slowly being eroded away by intense radiation pressure from nearby young stars. The nebula lies 6000 light-years distant in the Sagittarius arm of our Milky Way galaxy. See Jupiter’s southern hemisphere in beautiful detail in this new image taken by NASA’s Juno spacecraft. The color-enhanced view captures one of the white ovals in the “String of Pearls,” one of eight massive rotating storms at 40 degrees south latitude on the gas giant planet. The image was taken on Oct. 24, 2017 at 11:11 a.m. PDT (2:11 p.m. EDT), as Juno performed its ninth close flyby of Jupiter. At the time the image was taken, the spacecraft was 20,577 miles (33,115 kilometers) from the tops of the clouds of the planet at a latitude of minus 52.96 degrees. Closer inspection by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope reveals that these spots are actually a rare alignment of three of Jupiter's largest moons – Io, Ganymede, and Callisto – across the planet's face. I'm so sick of stressing about every bit of my life, from my safety to my finances to the well-being of my friends and family and other loved ones. Why can't the world be as simple as it seemed in our youth? I can barely eat from the stress, feel sick constantly, always tired... I'm sick of it all.

I wanted to improve on my initial attempt on this target from 2014. One of the issues was that I'd like to show the delicate 'curtain' structure of IC 434, the bright glowing hydrogen emission that the Horsehead is silhouetted against. This also prompted me to add more data to the LRGB channels as well in order to bring out the faint dust details better, so all together with last year's data I ended up with over 26 hours of data which I completely reprocessed and assembled into this updated version. I'm pleased that the result has higher resolution and more depth than last years' effort. The colours are also richer and more refined and in particular the Ha curtains now stand out above and around the Horsehead. About the image: The Horsehead Nebula (also known as Barnard 33) is without doubt one of the most recognized and fascinating objects in the sky. This iconic feature is formed by the sharp outline of a dark dust cloud, with a remarkable likeness to a horse's head, silhouetted against a brightly glowing patch of ionized Hydrogen (IC434) that is being energized by the hard ultraviolet radiation from nearby Sigma Orionis, a...

I didn't know what to draw for this one, so I went for a Mesoamerican jaguar. Obsidian is also called Volcanic Glass after all, so it's not completely unrelated :P

I absolutely love the Macuahuitl (sword-club) and it's heartbreaking the only one in good shape was lost in a fire.
