The new EO goes hand in hand with the attacks on 504 in Texas v Becerra, along with calling it healthy to bar licensed physicians from treating children with medications they need for a variety of conditions. This is not health; it’s ablism and pseudoscience at best and eugenics at worst.
Today, Trump issued an Executive Order saying that the administration would be establishing a commission to attempt to lower the prevalence of autism and chronic health conditions. ASAN will be joining efforts to push back against its harmful ideas and policies.

How the fuck are you supposed to find a missing trans kid without using the name they would be using for themselves?
New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.
