Just so people realise who was behind the 'spoil your vote' campaign... This article appeared in Gript, which is owned by multi-millionaire Declan Ganley, who was given ample air time on our national broadcaster prior to the presidential election to spout his grievances about the candidates.

Just a few minutes ago I scrolled past the image of a mother clutching her son in the shadow of two gun men prior to being shot, an image of two children murdered by the IDF last night and an add for a 50% discount on a meditation app for 'World Mental Health Day'.

There are lots of environmental battles going on in Clare right now. The proposed data centre for Ennis is one, but one that is less likely to grab the headlines is the proposed 'development' of Ennis Post Office field, our little island of biodiversity in the town.
