I’ve been thinking of Christmas as of late, And why I find the holiday so great. I never thought of it in words before, But my cogitation has taught me more. I believed it was worth thinking about, But now I know for sure, without a doubt. Maybe I’m being too sentimental, And I hope that isn’t detrimental, But on Christmas Day, I can’t help but smile. There’s always a sense of awe all the while. I treasure this time each year; this is true. The gifts and time off from school are nice, too.
