ROC posts, over a thousand of these were built across the UK during the cold war.
What I have always found strange about these little fallout coffins is that they were right under everyone's noses & the idea of being down in one, at the edge of some random field just... left there.

The most chthonic hulders in Underoak live deep underground where smells are used for navigation, cultural signalling, declaring warnings etc.
This guards fill the air with incense showing their allegiance.
It's an overwhelming place for first time visitors from the surface.

Trying to spin up a Draw Steel character, got the design ratios wrong here, not enough focus and rhythm in the design. I think I'll keep the ginkgo biloba leaf pattern in the cape and the drape. I tend do go through a few iterations before I find a design that lands satisfactorally. #sketchbook
