No major university will voluntarily relinquish control of admissions and faculty hiring. This is a battle the Trump administration will lose, even if it inflicts unimaginable hardship on the universities it targets.

We need a 24 hour vigil outside the National Museum of African American History and Culture to prevent Trump Administration officials from trying to shut down any of its exhibits!

Our universities are far from perfect institutions- but resisting fascism requires a strong civil society, so we need to defend their autonomy from government edicts which seek to control what people teach and what subjects professors and students focus their research on
