First game of 2025 complete.
Finished Emio: The Smiling Man. I liked it, but I didn't love it as much as most. It's a slow burn and takes a while to get moving. But the story is engaging enough and it's nice to see Nintendo take on darker themes.

Metroid Prime 4 is fucking cool
Prime 4 really teases you with a lot more power ups far earlier on that most Prime games. I think it makes the game feel much more open than before.

It maybe gets more boring over time, but I rather like Sol Valley. It doesn't look anywhere near as bad as the videos I've seen, and its art makes it look otherworldly, with its weirdly glistening sand. And I actually like the lack of music, the eerie sound effects give a tense atmosphere.
