This getting to be the season that it is, would you believe that I've been approached by shopping mall people asking me if I would like to be their Santa Clause for the season? (I'll admit I have the jolly attitude for it as well as the build, but it's something I don't want to do.)

Found this on a billboard just outside the club where I work. You'd think it'd stir the "wild animal" and me and make me want to go to Yosemite, but it doesn't. I've always been an urban bear, preferring things like a warm dry house of bricks, steel and glass than a damp den of stone and grass.

Went to a carnival today. Spent several hours seeing the sights (*will ya; look at that!*) , riding rides (*weeee!*) and of course overdosing on fried food (*ooooohhh my aching belly!* ;/. There were midway games but didn't go for those. The chances of winning those things is slim to none. ;/

After being fired by a boss who, by all accounts, was a backstabber and finding a better job I have come to the conclusion that maybe it's not living well that is the best revenge, it's living well despite the adversity that life has thrown at you. :/

Felt the need to seek relaxation so I signed up for a yoga class. It was a disaster. Tried to do the poses demonstrated by the instructor but found myself falling flat on my face every time (didn't know that yoga could be so dangerous. :/).

Got into the "Halloween spirit" by going out to eat at a local restaurant called Monsterland. Stepping into the restaurant was just like stepping into some mad scientist's lab with monster themed items all around. Food was great too! I definitely will be back for another meal!

Heard recently that the Utah Grizzlies hockey team will be packing up, moving to Trenton, NJ and adopting a new name soon. As a bear I'd have preferred them to move to AZ and replace the Arizona Coyotes.

Paid my alma mater Woodland High (go Raiders!) a visit today. Still looked the same as it did when I graduated more than 30 years ago. It was nice to go back and relive old memories but truth to tell the bad memories of being bullied and not quite fitting in outweighed the good ones.

We anthros love our plush toys. With that in mind I've filed paperwork to host a panel at Painted Desert Fur Con where we bring a plushie or two from our collections and talk about what makes them so special to us.

While I do enjoy movies, there is ONE I loathe-Rocky Horror Picture Show. Went to a showing once was branded a "virgin" (I had never seen the live experience before) and forcibly dressed as this weird dude they called Dr. Frankenfurter during their "virgin games"! *sheesh*!

Dungeons and Dragons was popular when I was younger but I never was much into it. Anthro races just weren't available for role play-mainly human and humanoid ones. Fortunately modern online RPGs give you more of a choice such as the Pandaren of World of Warcraft.

We at Wet Willie's accept all kinds, even those of us who are anthros. With this in mind, a new anthro capybara named Nibbles has started hanging out with us. He's a nice, laid back sort who doesn't have a mean word for anyone.

Motel 12 is a nationally known hotel chain with clean, comfortable rooms and stellar service, but the problem is they don't allow bears to stay there (we're just too destructive, according to them). I joined my brother bruins this weekend to protest this and hope they reverse their policy soon!
