The reason the internet is bad right now is because the public square has been effectively purchased by the most nihilistic, grudge-seeking, divorced people in the world. It's not inherently the technology, it's who we allowed to win the debate about moderation—rich people who are very, very racist.

Charlie Kirk brought Kalen D’Almeida onto his show today to defend and praise him after D’Almeida just followed, assaulted and bloodied a queer professor outside his classroom at Arizona State University on National Coming Out Day.

“I love the work Frontlines does because you guys do a great job.”
The video of this incident is fucking obscene. While representing Turning Point USA/Frontlines, Kalen D'Almeida full-body tackled this ASU professor into the ground, he’s luckily his injuries were as minor as they were.

TPUSA is a violent fascist hate group, as many on campus had repeatedly warned.
Yesterday on National Coming Out Day, the president of Drag Story Hour Arizona was leaving his class at ASU on LGBTQ Youth in Pop Culture and Politics when two men confronted him, called him derogatory names and then assaulted him. This is only weeks after he was the target of local far-right media.

I'm already competely radicalized about student loan debt but this might be my joker moment
The U.S. government has halted some efforts to collect an estimated $62 billion in past-due pandemic loans made to small businesses, concluding that aggressive attempts to recover the money — a portion of which may have been lost to fraud — could cost more than simply writing off the debt.
U.S. halts collection on some past-due covid loans, sparking federal probes
The Small Business Administration adopted the policy last April, prompting the agency’s watchdogs to warn last month that it “risks” violating federal law.
