I don't think the University of Arizona should have renamed their football stadium after a casino, in an era where sports gambling is already so problematic and corrupt.

I do, however, think that Del Sol Stadium would be a kickass name!

EA being owned by some of the most conservative people on the planet does not bode well for BioWare, in particular.
The video game publisher Electronic Arts announced on Monday plans to be taken private in a deal valued at roughly $55 billion by a group of investors that includes Jared Kushner and Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. The deal is among the largest buyouts ever.

For no particular reason 😉, I was reminded today of a game I once worked on.

About a dozen of us were in a meeting trying to make a decision about a particular thing. Opinions were diverse. It got heated. After 2+ hours, the meeting ended with no decision made.

I physically ran into Bill Murray as he was leaving a restaurant in downtown Austin during SXSW 2010.

Shocked, I asked for a photo with him. He said I'd have to ask his female companions. They declined for him.

I have no idea why he had his luggage with him.

Finally got around to finishing Death Stranding (exactly 2 weeks before sequel releases). Wow, the ending to that game does the exact opposite of “Show, don’t tell.”

Oh man, I have stories about the early days of this project that I can never tell.
NEW: What went wrong with Dragon Age: The Veilguard? Why was the writing so tonally inconsistent? Why did it feel so shallow? Why were there so few choices?

Really, after ten years of turbulence, it was a miracle that anything came out at all. This is the story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

When Duke loses to Arizona in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, we all win!
For the remainder of today, this is now officially a Duke hate account. If you are a Duke University student/alum, just a fan of their basketball team, or even a ruler of a minor European duchy, consider yourself on notice. 🐻⬇️🌵
