Sufi, genealogist, living in the Ozarks, interested in progressive politics.
Just phone my Republican conman and told his staffer that he should vote to disclose the Epstein Files. Her answer indicated to me that she'd had a LOT of calls about this, and her tone indicated she agreed with me.

We had a cold snap this week, so today I went out and bought knit caps, gloves, and socks to donate to my local school. Found out the socks were very much appreciated, as sometimes kids come in with wet feet and having extra pairs on hand means they can be comfortable.

Checked the school pantry, which is located on the highway. Found that most all the food I'd donated was gone. I got large size cans of soups, stews, chicken and dumplings, and tuna. I noted that smaller cans were still there-so I'm thinking large size is the way to go.

In line at the grocery store. Ahead of me, a young mother, who was short on cash. In walks a fellow around my age (74), who whips out his card and pays the difference and then goes on his way. Compassion in action.

As a genealogist, I learn the history of many immigrants. What I've found is that the majority were hard working, wanting to get ahead and to give something back to the country that welcomed them. Turning our back on the latest wave of immigration is foolish.

Another way Republicans are suppressing voter choice is in filing fees. Here in Arkansas, the filing fees for Dems is like twice that of the GOP. And now they are requiring Independents to file at the higher rate. If the Dem party sets the fees, they need to lower them.

Theist or atheist, I think we can all agree that there is evil in the world. And the 45 administration is the embodiment of evil.

Just bought some canned goods for the food box at my local school. The box is limited to canned goods, so I got soups, stews, and condensed milk. Going to try and do this weekly. Any suggestions for canned goods to get next week? I'm getting large sizes to feed families.

The problem is that 45 wants to be an absolute monarch, like King John. The barons checked that king (whose reign was a total disaster) by forcing him to sign the Magna Carta, which enshrined the writ of habeas corpus into British Common Law. 45 and the GOP are destroying that writ.

1A on NPR this morning was talking about how 45 has designated "antifa" and Black Lives Matter as terrorist organizations. I'm thinking he's going to name the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and the Democratic Party as terrorists, too, to drain their funding.

Arkansas Democratic candidates need to step up and do more than just email for money. I wrote a letter--a real letter, not email--to Hallie Shoffner, and have never gotten a reply. Requests for her and other candidates to speak go unheeded.

Just read "Nobody's Girl", in which nothing negative is said about 45. Given this, why are the GOP sitting on the Epstein files?

I finally figured out why corporations are backing 45. It is much easier to bribe one person than all the 535 in Congress. So we must figure out a way to show them that if they continue this backing, they will lose our business.

Suggestion for a holiday gift-- Research your family tree, and write stories of your ancestors who fought for our nation. Print them out and send to all relatives. If you have questions how to do the research on the cheap, ask questions below.

Suggestion for those who give gifts this time of year:
Make an Imagination Station for your favorite kid.
Use a box, which you decorate to look like an old fashioned train station. Put smaller boxes inside. Put string and ribbon in one, spools in another, etc. etc.

Noticed at our demo at a courthouse there’s a monument for a WWII Medal of Honor recipient. Think next protest I’m making a sign saying This Is ANTIFA and putting it on top.

At our protest yesterday, we had young kids and a 98-year-old and every age in between. Blow up costumes, people in costumes and frog hats, and a large FDT flag. We mostly had enthusiastic honks. This is deep red Arkansas, folks.
