the double meanings i tend to look for the most in taylor’s lyrics and pageantry are terms also used in music theory, finance, and chess/games/war. connecting those dots are how we break the parallax 🌠

I've been seeing this headline floating around. To be clear:
1) This is "No. 1" on a miniscule chart, The "Country Digital Song Sales" chart, as in people actually paying money to download country songs which is a tiny amount of people
2) The actual consumers are almost certainly fake

love this line of thinking! i totally think of musical interpolation as an act of transmutation:
taking elements of the old and rearranging/transforming/infusing them into something new.

No I’m fine, I’m just thinking about transposition in music (changing key), math, chess, space, ciphers, magic and biology (rly important in DNA, diseases & research / cloning). But DNA, transposons & mutations also made think… in alchemy, transmutation was the whole point. To turn things into gold.

this feels like a parody of a nikki glazer monologue, it’s so bleak it practically dares us to laugh!??

“In a story of theft and security lapses, “Fedora Man” is a gentler counterpoint — a teenager who believes art, style and a good mystery belong to ordinary life. One photo turned him into a symbol. Meeting him confirms he is, reassuringly, real.”
Loving today's news that the mysterious "fedora man" outside the Louvre heist was actually a 15-year-old museum visitor who dresses like a 1940s French detective all the time, just because. apnews.com/article/louv...
Fedora man unmasked: Meet the teen behind the Louvre mystery photo

What happened, @nytimes.com? Why not stand by your original headline? Because it’s absolutely an accurate representation of this trash conversation.
To publish this at all should be a fireable offense - but to publish it as women’s rights are being decimated is deeply immoral, bordering on evil
