Something about AI generated art that is tragically asinine is how it is end-result focused, & eliminates the messy *living* process of making art. The indescribably absorbing, embodied experience of entering a flow state is not something any of these energy guzzling thieving tools can touch.

bought a really crappy busted keyboard on kijiji, & you would not believe how much mileage I'm getting out of it for my new recording - or maybe you would, considering I used a wooden wine trunk I found in the street for percussion on numerous albums 😂

I went to a prominent arts high school where I was told by one teacher that the music I was writing was as irrelevant to their agenda as if I had gone there to play hockey, & by another that one day I could be a busker in the subway (respect for buskers! her comment was not delivered kindly)

I think the most horrifying & off-the-wall film I've seen this year was Big River Man. I told a friend who does cold dips in Lake Ontario about the premise (he swims the Amazon River), & she looked completely horrified. Watch at your own peril.
