The person's face is not visible, as they appear to be wearing a white mask, square at the top and with feathers appearing to cover the ears, and above the mask some braids of hair are visible in the same golden yellow tone as the feathers. The background is various tones of muted greenish blue, darker than the dress, and in the top left are swatched various colours of paint a brightly colouted sketch in colour pencil, alcohol marker and acrylic marker, of two swans - one is standing in profile, slightly to the right of the page, and is entirely in pencil, with a dark green blue above the beak and on the feet, and for dark shadows, with light shadows in an ochre colour. the second swan in below the first and to the left, this one in mixed media. The same blue green is used for the face above the beak and feet, with shadows in a mix of teal acrylic and green gold alcohol marker, and the beak coloured in red acrylic. highlights are picked out witha white pen. Both swans are surrounded by a dark gold marker, with shadows beneath the first and scattered lines arounf the second in green (a light blue pen used atop the gold). Around the swans are spots of red. In the bottom right are several swatches, and some warmer yellow in a patch coming away from the bottom swan. To the left and in the top left corner are swirls nd swatches of true and wine-red alcohol marker, and spots and patches of a light blue pen. to the top of the page are two pieces of washi tape, off-white and with line illustrations of a medieval-style unicorn and leaves. loose pencil sketches of Catherine Tate as Donna Noble, and David Tennant as The Doctor, as they appeared in The Wild Blue Yonder episode of Doctor Who. Donna is an uncoloured line sketch in a warm mid-pink, wearing a loose coat, striped jumper, leggings and boots. She appears angry or displeased. Her left arm (viewer's perspective) is wildly distorted, with the second joints of her fingers dragging on the ground as she walks forward. Surrounding her in blocky writing, all capitals, is the line, "My arms are too long" - My above her head to the left, arms stretched out alongside the distorted arm, and are too long below her right hand to the left of her feet. In the upper right is a smaller blockier drawing of Tennant, in a rather cartoonish style. His eyes are circles, and he appears poised to run, wearing a dark blue suit and a brown tie which is floating as if caught in motion. in his left hand he points the sonic screwdriver directly at the viewer. Above his head in yellow lined with pink (with a slash to represent where the text breaks around his head) is "ALLONS / -Y" There are various small dots of colour on the page, alcohol marker having bled through an earlier sketch. two sketches overlap - first on the left being in grey pen and watercolour, a womens victorian era ensemble in ochre yellows, with a plain skirt and a jacket with long sleeves puffed at the shoulders. The dress is seemingly disembodied, with a masquerade-style mask (plain white, with feathers and ribbon fastenings the same yellow as the dress) floating where a face would be. The second, "tucked in" behind the first, takes up more of the page, a drawing in black ink of a man. He wears a plain shirt (vaguelly resembling a victorian-era working mens shirt) with a cravat untied at the neck. His skin is uncoloured save for shadows hatched in around his face and neck. His hair is messily pushed back from his face, and his expression is one of distain. Surrounding him on both sides of his head are two ribs, and swirls composed of unnaturally long spines, with the vertebrae messily picked out. Above him are dark patches in the shapes of the eyes and nasal cavity of a skull. To his right, in messy script running parallel to his arm, reads, "Dogged little bastard of a man Wearing his sneer like a streak of bad blood" In the top right, partially below the eyes of the skull, are swatches of yellows, browns and red browns in watercolour, and right in the corner are swatches of fine black lines. in the top mid-left is a word in pencil in loose handwriting, "thorough"
