when the printers are too busy to make brackets, zip ties will suffice!

(this is one of two piston pumps that will pull gas samples from our electrolyzer!)
a piston pump mounted vertically on a stainless steel uline table. Zip ties hold a filter column to the side of the pump. A view of the back of the pump. Here, zip ties wrap around one of the table’s uprights to constrain the pump. Another view of the back of the pump. You can’t quite see it, but there’s VHB tape under the pump that keeps it from rotating in place.

who would win: hose barb straight connectors vs zip ties and hot glue
a pressure sensor connected to a tube. The tube is shoved inside a larger tube, then clamped into place with zip ties and sealed with hot glue.

successful internship day ~50 :D Still can’t believe they pay me to do stuff I’d want to do anyway. Getting closer to electrolyzer rig v2!
an electronics board I designed and assembled. This controls 5 valves on our electrolyzer test rig and monitors temperature and voltage. a sight gauge made of an acrylic tube, a gasket, and some 3D printed parts. This monitors the fill level of the electrolyzer. A very long chip of HDPE coming out of the drill press. Very long. Too long. Me!!
