I think Steam should add toggleable gamification elements to the developer dashboard

Right now there are a lot of beginner indie developers, and at the beginning of the path it’s often quite hard to control yourself – something you postpone for later or don't do it at all

For the bandaging animation, the original version of the bandage turned out to be too big — so we made a new one. But I hadn't shown the old one before. Here it is!

In Burning House, bandages and scissors are two separate items, but they form a combination:

If you use a bandage for dressing a wound and have scissors in your inventory, you’ll bandage yourself faster, use less of the bandage, and optionally keep the scissors in your hands!

I don't think developers are afraid of selling out in this context – it's just not there.

To become a sellout, you need to bring in an external sales manager who will meddle with your game.

There’s no such thing as too many keys.

(Though that's only partly true – in Burning House, it can be a drawback. Even for us, it’s a problem – I couldn't explain to the programmer how the keyring functions, so today he’s rewriting its mechanics.)

I've been having issues with the disk I mainly run programs from for three days now. Basically, I can't use Unity, etc.

A lighter is slightly brighter than a matchstick but burns significantly longer. Naturally, it does not need another fire source to be lit.

The Burning House page is available in 13 languages - that's more than what's listed in the "supported languages" section (will need to update the information) xD

In addition to the text , closed caption will be available in the game in all these languages.

The kerosene lamp is the heaviest of the light sources.
The lamp takes a long time to retrieve and light — you know... lift the glass, raise the wick, ignite the wick, lower the glass... and it takes almost as long to put out📉

The worst enemy of cash (a matchstick) can only be lit once and will fall out of your hands if a monster hits you.

It can also be difficult to get the matchstick from inventory — the more items in your inventory that are not matchsticks, the longer it will take to get a matchstick.
