Hey westerners, especially the ones in the United States of America,

The imperial boomerang is real. Whatever you let your governments do to Black and Brown people in nonwestern countries, they will eventually do to you too. You can't vote it away, or sit it out. It will come back to you!

There’s no way I could vote to give ICE more money.

Let’s be clear: ICE is now one of the wealthiest law enforcement agencies in this country, and they continue to prove they are ineffective and unqualified.

Remember when liberals were instructing us to not obey in advance?

Whatever happened with that anyway?

FYI… the last time the United States had “open borders” was in the 1920s.

One of the Democratic Party’s functions is to discipline and limit political possibility
One of the great weapons of liberalism is the limiting of imagination, they cant stand anyone imagining someone more progressive or egalitarian than them. They must be the pinnacle of civilized thought & to this end they will destroy the left wherever they can.

This aligns with Lenin’s idea that the revolutionary party must represent all oppressed masses, not just a single “class”. It's why in the BRT, we stand for all oppressed peoples; whether they be trans folks, sex workers, all queer siblings, Palestinians, the Congolese, etc. ALL OPPRESSED PEOPLES! 🖤

All of these Black thinkers weave together Marxist materialism with a sharp analysis of racialised oppression, laying intellectual groundwork for later movements. They have also been able to show that CAPITALISM IS RACIST, because capitalism was designed to work hand in hand with white supremacy.

There's also Walter Rodney's 'How Europe Underdeveloped Africa.' And as an African from Nigeria's oil-rich Niger Delta region, this book hits close to home. A classic dependency‑theory analysis that shows how Africa's underdevelopment is a result of capitalist exploitation and imperial extraction.

The most important thing about this book is how it shows you that liberal feminism is nothing but a waste of time. Capitalism and white supremacist work hand in hand, and both uphold patriarchal systems. The total liberation of (Black) women lies in the dismantling of capitalism and white supremacy.

One of my personal favourites is Angela Davis' 'Women, Race & Class.' This book connects sexism, racism, and class oppression, insisting that any revolutionary project MUST be intersectional. It also highlights the role of Black women as “the most exploited yet most resilient” agents of struggle.

Figures such as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, William Lloyd Garrison, and Sojourner Truth linked slavery to broader capitalist exploitation and demanded universal emancipation. And we have others like Angela Davis, Fred Hampton, Kwame Nkrumah, Frantz Fanon, Walter Rodney, etc., writing theory.

Before I go to sleep, I wanna leave y'all with this: I talk about the Black Radical Tradition a lot. But what is it exactly?

The Black Radical Tradition is a centuries‑long, globally connected current of anti‑capitalist, anti‑imperialist, and anti‑racist struggle INVENTED and LED by Black people.
