Some of us Tide fans recall - all too well - that long, dark night of the football soul.

(counterpart to the bechained ghost of Marley, to be named later):

"You will be visited this night by three Mikes - AND A DENNIS."

Baby girl stayed home, and it's been carbfest '25, over here.

We've had donuts.

We've had giant pretzels.

Maybe I'll just strap feedbags of flour to our faces.

Georgia Power is trying out Switched Source.

It's nice to see adoption of grid-enhancement tech like this, down south here.

Try Heimdall, y'all.

I consistently find it sort of amazing, how Tide fans can feel like their guys are losing - even as the other team has fewer points, and this has been the case through the vast majority of the game.

The frequent repetition of this ad for the current Tim Allen sitcom makes me feel cursed.

WARNING: POOP HUMOR AHEAD

I'm quite amused by how someone in the house has often lately been summoning others to "come and see this," after defecating.

Are you wondering if it's me? Do you think I've been doing this?

It's not widely understood how much of the infamous family feud between the Hatfields and McCoys arose from fundamental differences with regard to land use.

The McCoys were fairly traditional farmers and ranchers.

The Hatfields, possessing similar acreage, greatly chose to cover it in hats.

Gunn's Superman is tremendous.

I love it.

The Tide's great young receiver apparently focused greatly on increasing his bulk, and improving his strength, through the offseason.

should be great to watch

I was unaware of this big season-opening matchup with the Longhorns and Buckeyes, until mere moments ago.

This is how little I've been paying attention to sports stuff.

My surprise at this is significant, but not great.

Did you know we have the greatest healthcare system in the world?

the one that just required me to contact one doctor's office to have it send a fax to a massive corporation's scheduling office, containing a bunch of information both should already possess, in order that I be allowed...
