🇺🇸 throwing Ukraine under the bus. This shows how pointless 🇪🇺’s bootlicking of Trump was. West should have supported Ukraine more decisively (also Biden & Scholz to blame here). Europe still can and must, its security is on the line, too. But this will have a steep price now (at least economically).

Das Ganze ist zwar ohnehin eine Geisterdebatte, weil die Stationierung von Friedenstruppen derzeit völlig unrealistisch ist. Aber dass Deutschland mit 2x~5000 Soldaten (in Litauen und dann Ukraine) überfordert wäre, sagt einiges über den Zustand der Bundeswehr.

So this “peace plan” by Trump for Russia’s war is: give the aggressor what he wants, Ukraine gets nothing from US, Europe can pay to rebuild the country and organize a peacekeeping force (which Russia won’t accept, but we don’t care, because we obviously solved the conflict 🤡🤦♂️).
