Dec 25th is almost here! The big guy's birthday is one of the most anticipated events for millennia. But never forget it's not about the gifts, but to celebrate the divine birth of he who needs no introduction - the Invincible Sun. Happy holidays bsky

3 years in a row now we see on our ring camera the singular trick or treater who so politely takes one small candy bar. Every year our signage gets more overt, today's read "take what you can carry". We saw him and his mom read it aloud, and proceed to take 1. What can I say to make this kid dig in

Joe Biden made history last week by being the first sitting President to ever join a picket line, living up to his nickname "Union Joe." Learn why this move means so much in the fight for workers' rights at The Big Picture.
On Unions And Strikes, The Parties Are Not The Same
The day after President Biden stood with striking United Auto Workers, Donald Trump rallied supporters at a nonunion plant, and the contrast says everything about how they treat workers.

I post surprisingly little atheist content. I don't accept the god claim, reject it even. Ain't trying to convince anyone. My threshold for proof has been met, not much else to say

Busted my ass all weekend on house projects. Glad as hell that when I wake up in the morning I can just sit my ass down and sip coffee. Most of my fam is blue collar, don't know how they do this daily for a whole career. Anything is doable for a few days, it's the daily grind that's unfathomable

Glad I had my existential crises early. It sucked big time but in a decade or so you won't see me trying to cope with a new sports car or some shit. I know what life means to me and what I want, and squared that against what just ain't in the cards for me (sports car/some shit). I can live with that
