Fellow #CommonPeople contributor, working class woman @jennyknight.bsky.social birthed this beauty today.
If you like to laugh and cry and rage a fair bit, and if you like lyrical, skilled, mature writing from talented, brave authors, look no further!

Can't believe I'm saying this, but it's Publication Day! #wildmoonrising is officially out in there in the wild... I'm a writer a little lost for words, to be honest - I'm stunned, proud, slightly terrified and a whole lot happy. This took A LOT of years, so I hope it inspires you, too x

My review of The Shape of Guilt by Lisa Fransson felcherman.wordpress.com/2023/10/11/t... A gripping read, highly recommended. Thanks to Epoque Press for the copy.
The Shape of Guilt by Lisa Fransson
What Da Cover Says: Robert Bunny, a toy bunny rabbit, observes the steady decline of a family he so desperately wants to be a part of. His is the only voice of reason as he connects the crumbling mind...

This. Twitter got me work, contacts, connections with other writers, editors, artists, thinkers - and most of all, that deep sense of community it seems we all miss. It's exhausting to think of starting again but I'm up for it, because when it was good, it was really good. Here's to the future..
Thread here on the value of Twitter at its best. Many writers and activists I know had real, meaningful, useful, illuminating and often remunerative connections there that took years to build up. Here’s to doing it again and to strength for the journey.
Feeling this is a freelance editor as well. It's been harder than ever to find clients--it's all been word of mouth. So if you've worked with me and enjoyed the process, please feel free to shout about it every now and again! It's so very appreciated <3

I am absolutely delighted (and a bit overwhelmed) to tell you that my next book, Beast, will be published by one of my favourite publishers, the mighty Blue Moose.

Feeling blessed and excited to be joining a fantastic roster of authors.
