Boom!

Really encouraged by types of players Coach DDV is bringing in so far.

There are obvious questions about how all will fare at a higher level, but they are archetypes we haven't seen much in recent seasons.
In the last 10 days, IU has added Reed Bailey, Lamar Wilkerson, Jasai Miles and Taytom Conerway. Your annual reminder that the portal moves slowly until it doesn’t. #iubb

Lamar Wilkerson wanted to be "a priority". Indiana coach Darian DeVries went the extra mile to make sure Wilkerson felt that way about Indiana. In an interview with college basketball website Field Of 68, Wilkerson detailed his decision-making process. www.si.com/college/indi...

What an unfortunate way for Emanuel Sharp's tournament to end. He's been so clutch.

Tough way to lose for Houston. Congrats to Florida.

The DeVries Era officially begins now.

Who are you rooting for tonight?

I know this is the wrong answer for an IU account to give ... but I think I'll end up pulling for Houston.

I've already built the muscle memory rooting for them against Purdue & Duke, and I find their toughness and chemistry pretty easy to root for.

Congratulations to @zachosterman.bsky.social for winning the Jim O’Connell Award for excellence in beat reporting by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

Houston's historic win against Duke started with a loss to the Blue Devils a year and a week ago. The Cougars had been here before, and they wouldn't wilt.

First thought today upon waking up and reflecting on last night's incredible Duke-Houston game:

I love watching Kelvin Sampson’s teams play. It’s not always pretty, but the mental and physical toughness, and chemistry, are absolutely incredible.

Makes the most sense, with his mom’s health situation and the reality that Creighton is just a more stable and reliable situation for a player with his skill set. We’re not rebuilding Rome in one offseason.
#Iowa transfer Josh Dix has committed to #Creighton, per his IG page.

Josh Dix has shot 40%+ from 3 for three straight years. Legit NBA prospect.

Every time I log on to Twitter now it's burners arguing with other burners over what's being said on a burner Discord.

This should come as no surprise. The problem in that previous sentence is the "logging on to Twitter."

Someday I'll learn. Someday.

Anyway, hello again, Bluesky!

I really do think IU is a sleeping giant in football. I’ve been telling my friends and family that for the better part of 2 decades…

But it took a person like Cignetti, who combines gumption with results, to put the puzzle pieces together to galvanize the fan base.

🧵Here is the reality of this #iubb season as we enter the back half of December:

When you enter a season w/ B1G title & S16 expectations, but have IU's current resume and analytical profile after 11 games, there are clearly a lot of issues that need fixing.
