This has been my criticism of the superhero comics industry, and it seems to apply to the multimedia adaptations as well.
Comic lines get canceled before they finish, entire arcs get retconned, and trying to keep up or even join in becomes unpleasant homework, but now it's TV and movies too.

I'm not saying this is a new phenomenon. It's wild to me there was a multi-season show about Batman's butler that simply feels like it doesn't exist. Not even a comment on these projects' potential quality. They just come across as so effervescent.

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

"Content" is a blatantly misleading term to use for fanworks. Fanworks are the antithesis of content; content is produced for individual gain and consuming, whereas fanworks are created out of inspiration and the communal experience.
