APC/C-mediated ubiquitylation of extranucleosomal histone complexes lacking canonical degrons - Nature Communications
The APC/C ubiquitylates histones to regulate gene expression in pluripotent cells. Here, the authors pair cryo-EM and biochemical and biophysical assays to show that instead of modifying nucleosome-in...

After an exciting year of setting up my lab and life in Santa Cruz I am back on bluesky and hope to interact with y'all more.
I'm gearing up towards setting up an arrayed CRISPR screen and wonder what are your favorite companies to work with for guide RNAs. Edit Co, IDT, Horizon?

I'd also add that Alphafold doesn't predict interactions of nucleic acids with proteins, which are the basis of so many biological processes.
Scientists- please read this.
Recently I had a reviewer question why we even solved the crystal structure if Alphafold could predict it.
This editorial summarizes a lot of what I said in response and needs to be talked about more!
