Some artists make that first impression so tight — the visuals, the music, the energy all flow together. It doesn’t feel random. It feels intentional. That’s what makes people stick around.

A lot of artists assume they own any photos taken of them, but legally? The photographer owns the rights unless otherwise agreed. That means if an artist wants to use them for merch, album covers, or promos, they need permission. (1/4)

The mastermind behind [Slim's Open Mic], Slim Dizzle, closed out the night with his signature feel-good rap. Blending soulful samples with a smooth, bouncy delivery, he brought the perfect energy to wrap up an unforgettable night.

I wish artists would share more behind-the-scenes content. Raw, unedited moments from the studio, the writer’s room, or even a 30-second practice clip. Listeners don’t just love the music—they love the process. (1/3)

Just when the energy couldn’t get any higher, Zayewave threw on a mask and completely switched gears—jumping into the crowd and feeding off their energy for a high-intensity performance.

I get it—nobody wants an awkward photo floating around. But concert photography isn’t just about looking good, it’s about capturing the energy of a live show. And sometimes, those raw moments aren’t “perfect”—but they’re real.

Content isn’t just promo—it’s momentum. The artists winning aren’t just posting randomly. They’re teasing drops, telling stories, and keeping listeners engaged. If you're dropping music, you could be planning content at least a month in advance. (1/4)

Sunny flipped the room’s energy when he jumped off stage mid-set, shifting from a quiet, reserved demeanor to full-throttle punk vocals in the middle of the crowd.

A lot of music artists wing it when it comes to visuals. One day it’s pro shots, next it’s a blurry selfie. Fans need to recognize your brand instantly—your music, your look, your vibe.

What’s harder? Building a brand from scratch or rebranding after years in the game.

If you could describe your artist brand in just three words, what would they be?

Fontane commanded the stage like a king, delivering sharp, high-energy bars that had the crowd locked in from start to finish. Every movement, every lyric — pure presence.

It’s not just about the camera, it’s about knowing how to use it. A pro captures the feeling of the moment. The right lens, timing, and editing turn a good shot into a story. If you’re serious about your image, invest in visuals that match your sound.

Tanksley, an independent musician hailing from Syracuse, NY, and based in Delaware, is more than the sum of his parts. His brand stands at the intersection of music, visual artistry, and time—a space where rock, soul, and eye-catching visuals intertwine.

Did anyone else get utterly traumatized by their For You page on IG last night?

They said it was a glitch but I really don’t believe them at all.
