I traveled through Europe when I was 17 (this isn’t as amazing as you might think. We were generally backpacking and living off a dime) and at one point we ran out of food and didn’t have a ton of money to buy more, but we had big bars of Cadbury milk chocolate with fruit and nut. That’s all we ate
