We are deep into committee stage for the Tobacco and Vapes Bill in the House of Lords. Debate has been lively at times(!) but solid cross-party support for this legislation is coming through strongly with many peers who have worked on this issue for decades sharing their expertise.

New official Gov data on smoking out this morning for 2024. It's good news - smoking rates continue to fall. Vaping is now more common than smoking, likely part of the reason for the continue drops.
