Today’s Hard Quiz is absolutely hilarious.
There’s an older guy whose knowledge of epiphytic orchids is amazing.
And he’s funny to boot!

Evil phish. My Medicare card *does need to be replaced*

But Medicare mailed me my new card last week - I didn’t have to do anything to get it.

Wonder how my Medicare expiry date and phone number got compromised?

OK, I can't quite believe this.

Sometimes you read a sci-fi story & think, "well, that was fun - but *obviously* there's zero truth in it!"

In "20 Trillion Leagues Under the Sea" by Adam Roberts, a retelling of Verne's classic, there's a vast ocean *under* our seas.

Total nonsense?

Well...

Went out and watered the pots. Luckily, the shade cloth
I spread over the smaller pots before the hot weather on 9 Jan. is keeping the backyard a smidgen cooler.
PS: It’s much more erratic now, but serves its purpose.

But for some reason, I’m unable to post it!

The beach was lovely with the tide going out and a nice breeze blowing.
Took time out to paddle in the waves

Long walk along the Birrarung today near Fairfield. Some good views of #Melbourne city, and the flying foxes roosting along the river bank.
If you ever drive towards the city along the M3 at sunset, you will see hundreds flying overhead. Do check the altitude text for more details.
