spanish is literally just alternative english. raro is weird which is like rare, the verb for to sound (like sth.) is sonar, and imprevisto means unforseen and it sounds like it was taken directly from "improvised." like, if you speak spanish, you are good as hell at synonyms

I think a funny thing about the English language is that sometimes we can't use the word can, and instead have to define it by saying '...be able to...'. E.g. "He might be able to go shopping.... He might can go shopping."

I started going to the gym maybe two weeks ago and I've now had a cold/flu for longer than I've even started exercising. I want nothing more than to just get started and make it a habit to go 5x/week but I can't breathe thru my nose and I'll just get everyone there sick if I go anyway

I just spent the last 3 hours not only meal prepping for the second time, but also cooking chicken thighs for the first time. My back hurts, my hands are dry from all the hand washing, and everyone in the house is asleep. But at least lunch and dinner is done for the next few days.

Usually it's pretty quiet at night but tonight I heard someone walk by at like 1:30am and said "My grandma wants me to go to college. That shit's hard! I'd rather watch TikTok... and hit my vape!" like word for word. Must've been on the phone but that shit was hilarious
