You know, it's really impressive how good SOTC looks when played at resolutions far beyond that which they were targeting.
You'd think the illusion would break and the low-poly models and memory-cheap textures would look awful but the game's art style shines through and looks great.

Did you know there's actually an in-universe explanation for how the Yamori boss is able to cling to walls?
It has a sticky black substance on it's feet! That's why it leaves black footprints unlike any other boss.

The entire plot of SOTC (and possibly ICO, depending on how much you think they're connected) happened because this dumbass thought it wise to tell a person, who's loved one was going to be sacrificed, there's a place you can revive the dead.

New SOTC build dropped and I found a very funny bug.
Agro failed the jump over the broken bridge on the way to Narga but I didn't die so I'm just stuck with the death camera ahahaha. It looks almost like an RTS at this level of zoom.

It would break my heart if one day ICO, SOTC and TLG get the PC ports they sorely need and for SOTC it's BluePoint's "remake" that gets the port and the actual game gets forgotten.
And it doesn't go unnoticed that remakes/remasters often replace older versions of games in digital stores! The new, sleek version is considered the de facto one, while the actual original is consigned to rom sites where companies can freely sue the archivists who run them not for profit
