Much better than my last attempt at Viking Age tongs! I’m planning a class making these at Gulf Wars! (Yes, the edges rolled when I was drawing out the handles- sloppy of me, but they’re prototypes)

I think, in just about every project, there’s a point where we look at the project and seriously doubt it’s going to turn out. It’s so nice to get at least a wee little part of this project past that point!

I was planning on attending project day today. But not all projects are portable, and I started this one much later than I meant to… this is tray 4 of a double batch of venison and hog meatballs. The ones on the right are experimental- they have a chunk of mozzarella in the middle!
