Excellent reporting by @sorenhough.bsky.social & Josh Abbott on the RFK Jr-funded trial that Danish researchers wish to perform enrolling newborn babies in Guinea-Bissau

(I believe the trial would be unethical & am quoted in the new piece below)
The hepatitis B vaccine trial in Guinea-Bissau has come under yet more fire from experts and international bodies — and its future is more uncertain than ever.

So true. The loss of the stereo system to boom box single point speakers really killed these things. Bands like pink Floyd, Jeathrow Tull etc lost in the victory of product over experience. Cd’s with its sales point of high quality sound resembles a condom over the speaker system stillbirthed music
Found this on the radioland bin
I'm not a huge Beatles fan but I have been revisiting some of their albums and one of the things that stands out the most to me is the mastering. They went all out with the use of stereo. There is a sense of space and separation that you just don't hear anymore in modern music.

Support art and artists
The AI "caricature" trend has been very distressing to genuine caricaturists like my husband @tealcartoons.bsky.social. We've been discussing how to reconnect with people & remind them what human-made art looks like. He just started a YT channel. Please subscribe, share & delight in real caricature!
I *finally* completed the Saturday Night Live commission. Here's a very short video to prove it:

a fucking pedophile sexually abused nearly every prospective and actual Olympian gymnast for over two decades, and the political discourse is hyper-fixated on the hypothetical unfairness of trans girls competing with cis girls
1 reason why I get so angry at anti-trans "safety in women's sports" people is NONE of them do SHIT or say ANYTHING about actual safety in womens sport. There are ongoing histories and challenges and abuses in sport, and folks are more than welcome to pay attention, and give a damn. But they don't.

There is a measles outbreak in London, which has been widely reported.

Vaccination rates are low.

And we have been warned that an outbreak could be large.

Some of the reasons are due to misinformation and disinformation. Thankfully the Government appears to be waking up.
