It really is a bit unsettling to see the dead internet theory play out over on Twitter/X, in particular on the business side.

Every reply is either auto-generated or so generic and value-lacking ("Best list of tools!" or "Thanks for sharing!", etc).

Here's what I love about BlueSky (although ironically haven't really participated in it...yet!)

This platform loves genuine conversations and interactions over robotic profiles that regurgitate template after template of clickbait posts.

STOP treating influencers like they're your sales reps.

Companies hand creators a brief full of required talking points about product features, discount codes, and even company achievements.

- Skip Follower count - check engagement
- Find those discussing the problem your product solves
- Study recent posts for audience fit
- Review sponsored posts
- Test small before scaling

Creators should BUILD your brand, not drain its budget.
