Football mostly, tons of politics, she/her
Notre Dame is pouting. That tracks. They've had so long to join a conference and didn't.

Also, more meaningful games means more meaningful bowls which can only be a boost to sponsorship money.
This would literally fix every problem with the CFP. An automatic Champ qualifier from every conf and 13 at large. That way no matter what, every conference has a chance at the game. Then you can have room for 3 non champ B10, 3 non champ SEC, 1 non champ ACC, 1 non champ B12, then the PAC 12/G5/Ind

This CFB Playoff coverage is wild. They're saying "you can't be modern with money on one side and archaic with conference champs on the other".

It's not archaic to have playoffs with conference champs. Basically every other league does it that way.

A team from Indiana is going to be number 1. But it's not Notre Dame.

A team from Virginia is going to the playoff, but it's JMU.

A team from Louisiana is in, but not LSU.

Two teams from TX are going, but neither of them is the Longhorns.

Both Bama and Ohio State will be going on at large bids.

#CollegeFootball I get that if your team gets snubbed from the playoff today, it will suck.

But ultimately it's an entertainment industry and if your team isn't one of the ones affected, can you honestly say this isn't entertaining?

IMO, this is much better than watching the same few teams AGAIN.

My thoughts on the College Football Playoff (not saying anyone asked):

*Note: I don't care about getting the 12 best/most expensive rosters in the playoff. I want fun storylines and March Madness shows us there's no storyline funner than any school having a shot in any year.

Every ranked Conference Championship has gone chalk so far. That's not good for JMUs chances but maybe it's just a sign that we're overdue for an upset. Go Duke.

James Madison possibly making the College Football Playoff in just their 4th year as an FBS team is the definition of living the dream.

Alright, time to see Gary Patterson go to Washington State and the new look PAC 12.

What do you mean it's the fourth year in a row that #BoiseState has been in the Mountain West Championship and what do you MEAN it's the third year in a row that #UNLV and Boise St have played for the MWC Championship?

#Chiefs likely missing 3 starting OL this week against a tough Texans defense.

Moore, Caliendo, and possibly Morris will fill in and start.

Buckle up folks. It's gonna be a bumpy ride.
Here's the final injury report for the Chiefs and Texans.

I get that Andrews has been good, but giving him 13m+/year when he's going to be 31 before he even plays on his extension years is rough.

I guess though, given the desperation for good TE play, the market is what it is.

A bit disappointed not to see waiver claims come through on Laken Tomlinson, especially from KC.

I realize the season is probably lost, but KC has trouble at 2 guard spots with Trey injured and they could've gotten Laken on waivers for less than 1m afaik.

This is the rare post deadline situation where you make the difficult decision to cut a vet to do right by them, but actually improve your roster in the process.
December 3, 2025 at 12:20 PM
Welp. This CFP ranking finally put James Madison on the list but probably too little, too late as they debut at number 25.

Their one chance I think would be if Duke barely edges out a win vs UVA. Since Duke is unranked now, perhaps JMU would take the final conf champ autobid over the ACC champs.

My hot take is Brian Kelly should only take interviews with shit schools that have low expectations and will throw a decent salary at him just to win them a few games.

Literally someone like Sam Houston or Middle Tennessee would still pay a million. That'd work for me.
December 2, 2025 at 10:43 PM
It's time to temper expectations for what KC can reasonably do against Houston this week.

If KC ends up without 3 starting OL (Simmons, Trey, and Jawaan), it's probably not going to look great against the Texans D with Moore, Caliendo, and Morris in those spots.

Prepare accordingly. #Chiefs #NFL

This College Football Pregame show on CBS Sports HQ is awesome. I had no idea Damien Harris had so much personality. He is a joy to watch on here.

Please put him on a 2 man SEC in game highlight show.

I am once again asking for an NFL Gameday live-type program but for college football.

Have 1 for each of the P4 and then 1 doing notable highlights from the G5.

Highlights, game flow, key stats, and offer it on ESPNU with a base subscription. Then do the same but w/no analysts on a free channel.

Things I feel like I need from College Football this season.

- Illinois to win their Bowl Game
- A JMU CFP appearance
- An Indiana Hoosiers National Champion

After Florida State went undefeated in their conference in 2023 and still got left out of the CFP because of injuries, you'll never convince me that a playoff based on ranking is a good idea. At that point it's not about achievement it's about TV.

The new format is better but still bad.

Given all the issues that KC has had at WR in the past, it's really awesome to see them have 5 WRs on pace to hit around 500+ yards this year.

Not to mention Kelce having a renaissance.

Will all those guys make it to 500? No. But having that kind of talent is refreshing.
