just an observation. this cloudflare outage coincides with apple's latest security update. safari really really really wants you to surf safely and it runs private relay which uses cloudflare. it's in your icloud settings and I think it defaults to "on."

i used to work a couple blocks away from where cloudflare san fran offices are. there are so many tech offices over there now. when I was there in 1990, it was just warehouses and a couple offices. i worked for sfweekly btw.

I have google arts & culture images as my tv screensaver and for years I've been seeing this one painting but missing the name of the artist. I've finally hunted it down and it's Vuillard's Floral Pattern Dress. So I've been learning about him and his fellow painters who were called the Nabis.

I had the weirdest dream last night. it was a mishmash of random stuff. sometimes I think of dreams like the "extra rinse" in laundry. so my brain should be squeaky clean now. included in my dream: emily baker esq, dave matthews music, a climbing wall, government forms, and more.

trumpers aren't paying attention. they go suddenly deaf when they want to. they start watching fishing or music videos. don't think they're all regretting being trumpers. they're just taking a time out and being willfully ignorant until the bad news blows over. they did the same thing on jan 6.

here's an idea: how about a mini bucket list? like, a bucket list for the week, or the weekend. a bucket list for november.
