just remembered some advice for freelancers, esp artists. figure out what your hourly rate would be even if you're a commission artist. when someone asks for a commission piece, you don't start until they pay you for your first hour of work. do that one hour, then negotiate from there.

Spoiled and misled by tv and movies that show that the police (sheriff, fbi) know what they're doing and can solve anything. I bet fbi just took all the nest camera footage and ran facial ID on it then went and detained that poor guy.

so it looks like right after they released the nest camera footage that shouldn't have been stored, the fbi dropped a little money into the bitcoin wallet as bait, then detained some poor delivery driver who has been on nancy's webcam in the past because he's a bona fide delivery driver in the area.

I didn't watch the game or the superbowl because I usually don't anyway. I play Civ6 instead and caught up on most of the ads this morning. The only one that made me lol was "Will Shat on my car!" Almost as good as Kmart's "I just shipped my pants!"

One month ago I started reading Entitled, The Rise and Fall of The House of York by Andrew Lownie. It felt current and applicable. I'm about halfway through.
Because every day is 7 years long right now, it feels like I'm reading some quaint old archive about long ago. Ancient history.

I'm finishing up therapy next month. I just had a few things I needed to work on, and get some tools to help me deal with them from now on. This cartoon cracks me up.
