A four-panel comic page, the first of three pages. Panel one is a large aerial shot of a golden field of grain, with black mountains and a black sky behind, which is not merely dark, but seems to absorb the red of the setting sun beyond. A tall tower rises behind the mountain peaks. A small, indistinct figure is waling towards them, leaving a path in the grain. Panel 2: A slightly high-angle shot of a feminine, humanoid robot, an Exo, as she runs her fingers through the seed heads of the grain in the foreground. She wears white arm and chest armor over a close-fitting gray and blue shirt, has a blue scarf wrapped around her neck, and her face is made of a mix of blue plating and gray plastics. Her eyes are the same gold as the grain, and she looks at it with a neutral expression. Panel 3: We face back the way she has come from. She seems to have turned to look back abruptly, putting herself in profile, one hand drawn up uncertainly as the other rests on the grain. There is nothing behind her but the field and the solid black sky. Panel 4: She as continued onward, out of frame, showing the trail of her passage though the crops, and of her, we can see only one armored hand stroking the seed heads as she passes. A five-panel comic page, the second page of three. Panel 1: We face the base of a narrow stone tower, standing in a grassy clearing, lit red with a sunset on one side and shading to shadow in the other. The shadows behind the tower shade into a solid black, the same as the arched entrance. A narrow dirt path leads to the entrance. Panel 2: We look up at the tower now, and the imposing height of it, with the Exo woman in the foreground, with her back to the viewer. Instead of armor, she now wears a sleeveless purple shirt, showing that the blue metal of her arms is etched with flowers on one shoulder, like a tattoo. Panel 3: A wide, narrow shot of her bare, robotic feet at one side of the page, humanlike but plated in blue and gray, standing at the edge of the field of grain. A dirt path stretches ahead of her, with the shadow of the tower falling over it. Panel 4: We look up at her now from one side, emphasizing her clenched fist at her side, standing at the edge of the field. Her chin is raised and she stands straight, still in the soft purple shirt, and one of the panels on this arm is etched with what might be a swan taking flight. Faint lines indicate her hand is shaking. Panel 5: An aerial view of her, but she has taken several steps back into the golden field, and has her face in her hands. It's a desolate and lonely view. The grain ripples around her, and the shadow of the tower looms before her. A seven-panel comic page, the third of three. The first panel is close to the Exo woman, still in her soft clothes, as she rubs at her head. Behind her, on the black horizon, is a single point of orange, and a sharp ripple in the grain. Panel 2: She stands up straight, hands still out, and mouth slightly open, and now wears the armor from page 1. Around her, the grain has been blown forward, and an orange glow is rushing towards her with it. Panel 3: We see her from above as a shockwave approaches, bathing her in yellow-white light. She holds up a hand as if to fend it off as she turns back to look at it. She now wears different armor in gray and green. A triangular emblem is just visible on one shoulder. Panel 4: The shockwave has struck. We see her face and one arm depicted in yellows and oranges and with a hard black shadow, her body distorting and breaking up, disintegrating in the blast. Her mouth is open in a silent scream, or perhaps just torn open with the force of it. Panel 5: A view of a bedroom, at night, all in soft grays and purples. The woman lies in bed, the covers nearly kicked off, one arm raise behind her as she thrashes, in a pose similar to the final shot of her in the blast. A windowsill is just visible to the right. Panel 6: She sits up in bed, facing the window, putting her back to the viewer. She wears a loose t-shirt, and her head hangs as she sits on the edge of the bed. The window is edge in a single futuristic curve of metal, and through it, we see a dark nighttime cityscape, with the moon visible in the distance, and a large, cracked white shape taking up one corner of the view. Panel 7: We look out the window more clearly, over her shoulder as she sits up. Two short, angled towers have a tiny moon setting behind them, with a tall, narrow tower beside them, not unlike the horizon in the very first panel of her dream.

The next shows it from the chest-up, reaching up to hold the hat in both hands as it looks up into it with its blind face. The last shows its fully body as it scuttles along on its hands and feet, holding the hat in its fangs by the brim.

A handful of the #warforged I designed as NPCs back when I was DMing. I had far too much fun spinning up new concepts, and wound up with many more than were ever used.
A pencil sketch of a four-armed Warforged wielding a rapier in an upper hand. Their lower hands are holding some unidentifiable device, and what appears to be a mechanical lion stands behind them, snarling. Five sketches of Warforged busts of different styles. One is very spare and lean, and wears a fur-collared cloak. Another wears ornate plate armor with a slotted visor and exaggerated bevor integrated into their face. Another looks alien and smooth, with a set of pits and dark slots instead of facial features. Another is in profile, with a plain mechanical face and details of their helmet sweeping down into featherlike accents. The last is constructed in simple, clean lines, with half-plate armor integrated seamlessly into their body. A pencil sketch of a Warforged. They stand with a greatsword propped on one shoulder, and wear plate armor, including a heavy gorget and visored helm. Little turnaround of Tal-kam, a Hive Knight character I've been playing with for a while. I have a lot of thoughts about refining her look, but am still pretty happy with this. #destinyart #destinyhive
A pencil turnaround of a Hive Knight from Destiny. A line on the page indicates she stands 8 feet and 6 inches tall, and a Hunter with their face obscured (labeled at 5 feet 11 inches) prods her on one arm. She stands with one hand resting on the pommel of a cleaver while leaning slightly away from the Hunter, and her armor is all made of smooth shapes with fine arching, like the interior of a seashell. Her helmet comes down like a visor over her eyes, and rises in the back into a pair of curved horns. Panels of fabric hang at her hips like a Titan's marks. In the other, back view, she strides athletically away with the cleaver held low, showing a pair of banners attached to the back of her helm and a set of bony, vestigial wing spikes between her shoulders. A last thumbnail doodle in the corner is labeled "kneels for casual conversations," and indeed shows the Knight kneeling on one knee, her head level with a Human figure's.

Peering at them around the other side of the chair and holding a cleaver is a tiny chibi Crota, clearly intending to start shit.

Indis, my Path of the Beast #Barbarian from a campaign that petered out. I miss them...

Tho fun fact! I was never actually playing Indis, but the Far Realm parasite that had taken over their body. Their Rage was their human consciousness taking over and expressing decades of Backstory. It's fine :)

The large central lens has a tiny shadowed figure projected inside of it, which kneels with its hands and face pressed against the glass, looking at Oryx. It has three glowing green eyes and seems to wear chitinous armor.
