Interesting uniformly spaced distribution of small white rocks around the rover and a more on the hills. Instead of quartz it could be also some shiny darker material reflecting light 3h before local noon. Perseverance Rover Mars day 1763 yesterday and the day before. More: areo.info/mars20/ecams...

Geoffrey Drumm's chemistry theory about the pyramids of Egypt is still the most solid for me. Christopher Dunn's hydraulic ram pump theory was earlier and made sense mechanically, but it was missing a practical purpose, which was added by Geoffrey. In 2023 I joined his first public Egypt tour...

Limb Darkening of the Sun is not well explained by the standard model of astrophysics. In these photos from India's Aditya-L1 SUIT, the darkening towards the outer border is clearly visible, stronger in shorter UV wavelengths... 📷 www.isro.gov.in/Aditya_L1_SU...

The standard model of astrophysics says, the thermal radiation curve measured by satellites around Earth was originally created by hot gas during the Big Bang at a time when no solid or liquid matter existed yet. The problem is: The closest replication of that curve...

It's time again for the star Sirius to reach its yearly midnight culmination. Happens for any star on various days, but only for Sirius on midnight into the new year. Before the year 2000, it was several minutes off. So the beginning of the year in the Gregorian Calendar is marked by Sirius...

Scientific lunar peculiarities:

* The Moon's and Sun's axial rotation match in some way: The lunar axial rotation period in relation to the stars is 27.3 days. The Sun's surface rotates once around in 27.3 days exactly in the middle between equator and pole... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_r...

Ever heard about Prof. Pierre-Marie Robitaille, inventor of medical UHF-MRI? Before he and his team built the first machine 25 years ago, academic science considered it to be impossible as it was said to need dangerous high energy levels in the EM fields, causing too much heat in the human body...

The astronomical Equation of Time for Earth represented as 3d object. It's the small daily variation in observed solar time towards towards a constant clock. The change along the vertical axis is supposedly the expected effect during 10000 Earth years of the 26000 year period of the Great Year.

Those tiny sand dunes on Mars in front of the half meter diameter wheels are actually moved around today by the local wind with being heaped up from fine dust. But the larger ones next to them are permanent and have a hardened surface the rover sometimes breaks through. 📷 areo.info/mars20/ecams...
