Tactics Ogre Reborn is so funny when it comes to recruitment. You can get someone to an inch of their life, surround them with clerics he'll never be able to kill, and have him be the last person standing other than the map's boss.

Early Tactics Ogre Reborn thoughts: The menus feel kinda clunky. The maps feel a bit too large but given that you can deploy up to 12 units + guests I can see that not being an issue. Not sure how I feel about it's class system but I'm willing to let it breathe.
And the story has got serious balls.
